Why Emerge Me?

The basic requirement for  being an Emerge Me student is that you are sick and tired of being sick and tired!
Most courses require an intellectual form of entry, or a basic set of skills, be they academic or artistic in order to be qualified.
I prefer students to gain entry via simple use of the phrase ‘enough is enough’ and have the willingness to commit to meaning those simple words every day, with increasing intensity.

If I were to assess my qualities, I would say that the most overriding quality I possess is persistence.
Granted, I am not always persistent about the right things, but it also means that I am not very good at quitting, which means that if we work together, I am not likely to quit on you!

Despite my history being littered with many ‘achievements’, I have come to realise that external achievements and recognition rely solely on your achievements being relevant to the person you are talking to at the time.
As an example, if I meet someone who is a musician, if I discuss my musical achievements with them, I have relevance. If I mention my musical achievements with my oldest children, they care as long as it has relevance to what is considered a musical achievement now (to them its Hannah Montana).
Conversely, my 17 month old son is blissfully unaware of the concept of achievement, but still has the capacity to demonstrate unlimited love in a smile, just because I am in the room.

Eminent speaker Dr Deepak Chopra refers to the areas we choose to focus on as object referral and self referral.
Simply put this means placing your value on things external to you, job, career, possessions (object referral) versus spirit, wisdom, poise and power (self referral)

Please note, the purpose of you engaging in this life changing course is because you have already tried to acquire power via object referral and found it meaningless.
You have an innate awareness of the fact that there is a better way, but you are terrified to try it because your previous education warns you of the perils of daring to be different.
It is important to understand power resides within you, You already have it, it is important to use it, it is essential to control it and if you do so with the same intensity that  you have nurtured your previous ideas, you will go forward and carry the world before you.

This is a new dawn if you choose it to be.
